Half term holiday activities at Winter Glow
Ice Skating
What better time to think about ice skating than after the UK’s hottest day on record! There’s no better activity for getting into the holiday spirit than ice skating on the Winter Glow ice rink at the Three Counties Showground.
Glide along to festive classic’s this Christmas on one of the largest all-weather ice rinks in the whole of the West Midlands. With giant glistening snowflakes and beautiful decorations, our indoor rink really is the perfect place to spend time together during the half term holiday.
Ice Princess Parties
Returning for 2022 after huge success in 2021 – our magical Ice Sisters will be back on the ice every Sunday at 11am from the 27th November 2022 – 1st January 2020 (excluding the 25th December 2022).
Illuminated Light Trail
Our themed Illuminated Light Trail is a magical, night-time Christmas light show that will take you on a breathtakingly new journey.
‘A Christmas Odyssey’ is a newly themed adventure trail that will transport you from the depths of ancient Atlantis to the fanciful shores of festive islands, adorned with shimmering lights and impressive festive features. Venture around the showground and experience this one-of-a-kind, immersive and interactive light trail, full of hidden surprises and memorable moments. You could not find a more perfect activity than our Illuminated Light Trail during the half term holiday!
Do you know a little detective who would love to help Jingle the Elf solve his Christmas mystery? Younger visitors will be invited to join Jingle on his quest to find his 5 missing elves, solve clues and make discoveries! Will they find the elves hiding down Candy Cane Lane, swimming with dolphins in Atlantis, or lost in the Christmas tree maze?
Dog Friendly Light Trail Sessions
It’s not just human children that we invite to have half term holiday fun at Winter Glow! You loved them last year, so we’ve bought them back for the fur babies of the family. Our Dog-Friendly Light Trail Sessions will take place on 13th and 28th December 2022, and 1st January 2023.
Personalised Santa Experience
Have your family made the Good List this year? If so, why not treat them to a Personalised Santa Experience this Christmas as a special half term holiday treat! Allow us to transport you to a festive wonderland, full of immersive adventures and Christmas delights.
Join Santa and his Elves on this fantastical adventure and allow them to introduce you to a magical world of festive spectacles. Our 2022 Santa’s grotto experience begins with a special letter from Santa Claus and invites you to celebrate Christmas together as a family this winter.
Explore the Winter Village, decorate Christmas biscuits in Mrs Claus Bakery, send your very own piece of Elf Mail and meet Father Christmas and his Toyshop elves this winter at the Three Counties Showground, Malvern, Worcestershire!
Giant Observation Wheel
Malvern’s first ever Giant Wheel is returning to Winter Glow and is a must-try experience for every visitor this half term holiday. A ride on the wheel is the perfect family activity and a true landmark for Malvern this winter, giving you a birds-eye view of the local area and the sparkling lights and festivities of Winter Glow below.
Get 10% off Light Trail and Ice-Skating tickets
We have an amazing EarlyBird 10% discount off both Ice Skating and Light Trail tickets for Winter Glow 2022.
The EarlyBird discount is automatically applied to both Light Trail and Ice Skating tickets directly at the checkout. The 10% discount expires on the 31st October 2022.
Where is Winter Glow?
Winter Glow is open from the 25th November 2022 – 2nd January 2023 at the Three Counties Showground, Malvern, Worcestershire. Parking is free and disabled parking spaces are available.
How do I book tickets?
To book tickets for any of our Winter Glow attractions, head to our ticketing page. Remember that the EarlyBird 10% discount also applies to both our Dog Friendly Light Trail sessions (13th and 28th December 2022 and 1st January 2023) and Ice Princess Ice Skating Parties (11am every Sunday from 27th November – 1stJanuary 2023).
What does the time on my ticket signify?
The time on your ticket is the time that you should arrive at the entrance to your booked attraction. To avoid large queues please make sure that you arrive at the time you have booked.
